Referred Classes

SATOP
Assessment
All consumers needing an initial SATOP Assessment must contact the St. Joseph Safety and Health Council
for an appointment. Walk-ins are not accepted. All
assessment appointments are conducted at the St. Joseph Safety and
Health Council, located at 118 S. 5th St. in St. Joseph, unless
otherwise noted or arranged with a counselor. The cost of the
assessment is $375, payable to the St. Joseph Safety and Health Council
by certified check, money order or credit/debit card. Payment in full for services
are due the day of the scheduled appointment.

SATOP Offender Education
Program
The SATOP Offender Education
Program is offered once each month, Thursday evenings 5:30 - 10 p.m. and
continued on Saturdays 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. All classes are held at the
St. Joseph Safety and Health Council, located at 118 S. 5th St. in St.
Joseph, unless otherwise noted. The cost of the class is $130,
payable to the St. Joseph Safety and Health Council by certified check,
money order or credit/debit card.

SATOP Weekend Intervention
Program
The SATOP Weekend Intervention
Program is offered each month, starting at 4 p.m. on Fridays and ending
at 4 p.m. on Sundays. The program is held at the Drury Inn,
located at 4213 Frederick Ave. in St. Joseph, unless otherwise noted.
The cost of the class is determined on a sliding scale based on income,
with a $250 minimum cost for the consumer. Class fees are due by
the Thursday prior to the weekend class, payable tothe St. Joseph Safety

Driver Improvement Program/Defensive
Driving Course
Individuals wanting to take the
Driver Improvement Program/Defensive Driving Course, either at the St.
Joseph or Maryville location, must call at least one week prior to the
class to enroll. The cost of the class is $75, payable to the St.
Joseph Safety and Health Council by certified check, money order or
credit/debit card.

St. Joseph classes are offered once
per month starting at 8 a.m. unless, otherwise noted, at the St. Joseph
Safety Council office, located at 118 S. 5th St. in St. Joseph.
Maryville classes are offered once per month starting at 10 a.m. at the J.W. Jones Student Union Meeting Room D on the campus of Northwest
Missouri State University, unless otherwise noted.

Alive @ 25
Alive @ 25 classes are provided every

Adult Stealing

Juvenile Stealing
Juvenile Stealing classes are provided
once each month on a Saturday from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. All classes are held at

payable to the
Buchanan County Juvenile Office, unless the
referral is from another agency, court or individual.

Abuse Program (ASAP)
ASAP classes are provided once each
month on a Saturday from 1 - 5 p.m. All classes are held at the St.

to the St. Joseph Safety and Health Council by certified check, money order
or credit/debit card.
