Mission Statement
To provide an opportunity for persons with responsibilities in the area of safety and health to interact, share ideas for continuous improvement, further educate and develop its members, and to promote the awareness of safety in the community.

Membership Requirements
Membership Requirements in the association include one of the following:
 | Those whose job responsibilities include the safety and/or health profession. |
 | Has achieved a baccalaureate degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental safety, industrial fire prevention, risk management, occupational medicine or a related field. |
 | Currently enrolled in any recognized degree program in any of the related occupational safety and/or health profession. |
Membership Fee
 | Annual individual membership dues in $20 and not transferable. |
 | Organizational membership is $40, with the organization designation an individual to be their representative. |

Annual Seminar
The Midland Empire Safety Association
sponsors an annual seminar for area and local safety professionals in Northwest Missouri. Nationally recognized speakers are invited to present seminars on currently accepted safety concepts for increasing safety awareness within the participants' respective businesses and industries. The annual seminar provides an excellent opportunity for those involved in safety to stay current on the latest methods of promoting safety within their organization.
