Taking Registrations Now
for the 2010 Summer Sessions

 

The St. Joseph Safety Council and the St. Joseph School District have formed a partnership to offer Safety Town through the District's Summer Enrichment Program. Safety Town is a miniature town designed to introduce children (ages 5-7) to the importance and methods of safety, especially pedestrian safety.

Student Volunteers needed

	Do you enjoy being around children?
	Are you dependable, responsible and friendly?
	Do you want to do something other that sit and watch TV this summer?
	Do you want to feel like you are contributing to your community?
	Do you need community service hours for scholarship applications?

If the answer to any of these questions is "Yes," then contact the St. Joseph Safety and Health Council and become a student volunteer for Safety Town. Requirements: Must have completed 7th grade, have a letter of recommendation from a teacher, principal, or counselor and parent's signature on a consent form.
